Description
Mayaca fluviatilis, or Stream Bogmoss, is a fast-growing aquatic stem plant with delicate, feathery, needle-like leaves that provides a vertical accent and flowing texture to aquariums. Native to Central and South America, it thrives in bright light and tropical temperatures (23-28°C), prefers soft to slightly acidic water, and requires regular pruning to control its rapid growth. An indicator of iron deficiency, the plant can become pale when nutrients are lacking.
